A good sleep triggers changes in the brain that help to improve your memory considerably,sleep helps new memories to 'stick' in the brain -a process scientists call memory consolidation.This happens when connections between brain cells are strengthened  by proper rest. When we feel angry,we should go back to our conscious and refrain from looking and listening to the person we think to be the source of our unhappiness. We don't need to do or say anything. As we go back,we should be aware that it is our anger that is making us suffer,not the other person.

(Eph.4:26-27) "Be angry but do not sin:do not let the sun go down on your anger,and do not make room for the devil." Pray for yourself. Pray for the person who is making you angry.Pray for the situation,pray that your heart will be softened and you will forgive.Pray that you can forgive the person making you angry.

(Ps.37:8) "Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath. Do not fret-it leads only to evil." As we see ourselves clearly, we know what to do and what not to do.The exhalation that follows will have the same effect.in anger,we tend to think of the other person as the source of our suffering.  We see evil in him or her. Modern-day research into aloe vera's benefits is mixed,with some evidence showing it fights tumors and some showing it causes colorectal cancers. There are no foods that contain aloe vera,so it must be taken in supplement or gel form. Some forms of aloe vera are safer to take than others and chronic use is discouraged.

What are the use of aloe vera ?

Research backs up the ancient use of topical aloe vera as a skin treatment,at least for specific conditions. Studies have shown that aloe gel might be effective in treating psoriasis,seborrhea,dandruff,and minor burns and skin abrasions, as well as radiation-induced skin injuries. Aloe gel also seems helpful in treating the sores caused by genital herpes in men. There's also strong evidence that aloe juice (also called latex) taken by mouth is a powerful laxative.

In fact,aloe juice was once sold in over-the-counter constipation drugs. However,because  aloe's safety was not well established, the US FDA ordered in 2002 that over-the-counter laxatives containing aloe vera either be reformulated or removed from store shelves. Aloe vera gel taken orally (by mouth) seems to help people with diabetes by lowering blood sugar levels.It may also help to lower cholesterol. The result of aloe vera studies for other medical conditions have been less clear.

How much aloe vera should you use ?

Creams and gels with aloe vera vary in dosage.Some creams for minor burns have just 0.5% aloe vera. Others used for psoriasis may contain as much as 70% aloe vera. As an oral supplement,aloe has no set dose. For constipation, some use 100-200 milligrams of aloe juice or 50 milligram of aloe extract daily as needed.  For diabetes, 1 tablespoon of the gel has been used daily. High oral doses of aloe or aloe latex are dangerous. Ask your doctor for advice on how use aloe.

What are the risks of using aloe vera ?

Researchers warn against the chronic use of aloe vera,however,if the aloe product is free of aloin-an extract of the plant that has been found to cause colorectal cancer in rats-it is fine as a topical remedy for sunburn and to drink in juice form. Aloin is found between the outer leaf of the aloe plant and the gooey stuff inside. Do not apply topical aloe vera to deep cuts or severe burns. People allergic to garlic,onions,and tulips are more likely to be allergic to aloe. High doses of oral aloe are dangerous. Don't take oral aloe if you have intestinal problems,heart disease,hemorrhoids,kidney problems,diabetes or electrolyte imbalances.

Side effects.

Topical aloe vera might cause skin irritation. Oral aloe,which has a laxative effect,can cause cramping and diarrhea.  This may cause electrolyte imbalances in the blood of people who ingest aloe for more than a few days. It can also stain the colon,thus making it difficult to visualise the colon during a colonoscopy. So avoid it for a month before having a colonoscopy. Aloe gel, for topical or oral use,should be free of aloin,which can be irritating to the gastrointestinal tract.

Interactions.

If you take any drugs regularly,talk to your doctor before you start using aloe supplements. They could interact with medicines and supplements like diabetes drugs, heart drugs, laxatives, steroids and licorice root. The oral use of aloe vera gel may also block the absorption of medicines taken at the same time. Given the lack of evidence about its safety.aloe vera supplements should not be used orally by children and women who are pregnant of breastfeeding.

Changes in the brain that occur during menopause so closely resemble those seen in Alzheimer's that some researchers suggest it may signal the start of the disease."We are trying to find out what happens at the particular time that put brains at risk", says Roberta Brinton,a neuroscientist studying Alzheimer's at the University of Southern California who has turned her attention to the menopause.

That knowledge might lead to new ways to help women deal with the unpleasant symptoms of the menopause.Even better,it is possible that therapies to artificially boost hormone levels could protect the brain from these changes altogether-potentially staving off the ravages of dementia later in life.

The menopause essentially signals the end of a woman's ability to have children.As the number of eggs inside the ovaries dwindles,the amount of oestrogen they produce plummets,too.It is the lack of oestrogen and possibly some of the other hormone released by the ovaries-that is thought to trigger the common symptoms of menopause.These can include hot flushes,fatigue,weight gain,lack of sex drive,and vaginal dryness.

But cognitive effects such as mood swing,insomnia,anxiety and forgetfulness are still often overlooked.This is partly because they may be seen as going hand in hand with ageing."Another potential reason is that the cultural expectation is that women just endure,even if they may be experiencing uncomfortable or disturbing symptoms," says Brinton.

The brain has plenty of oestrogen receptors,so there is nothing new in the idea that a dive in levels of the hormone can have an effect. But until relatively recently,any impacts on the brain were thought to be associated with reproduction-things like attraction and sex behaviours.Then an explosion of research over the past decade revealed that a drop in oestrogen can have profound effects on memory,mood and even brain health in both men and women. 

These findings raised a red flag with Brinton,who has been trying to understand why women are more susceptible to Alzheimer's disease. "I realised it might be the hormonal transition in perimenopause and menopause that appears to be the kick-starter for Alzheimer's in some women," she says.This idea also fit with findings from Brinton and others that oestrogen has a protective function on the brain.One form of oestrogen called,oestradiol,for example,ramps up activity in the brain cells' mitochondria-essentially,their energy factories.The extra energy boost helps cells recover from damage associated with the normal wear-and-tear of ageing.

"You can imagine that if there is this drop in oestrogen,the brain becomes more sensitive to damage,and that could lead to the death of neurons," says neuroscientist Amandine Grimm at the University of queensLand in Australia,who studies the ageing brain.And a fall in oestrogen levels doesn't just cause the brain to produce less energy,it also seems to change the type of energy it uses.

For most of our lives,the brain's fuel of choice is glucose."The brain is the most glucose-dependent organ in the body," says Brinton. At least,it is until menopause hits.Brinton has found that,as mice go through their equivalent of menopause,the amount of glucose metabolised by their brains drops dramatically,by about 25 per cent.

Hungry Brain: When body tissues are faced with a shortage of glucose,they enter a "starvation response,"and turn to fats as a backup source of energy.Something similar seems to happen in the brain.Over time,it appears that the brain resorts to a readily available source of fats-myelin,the fatty white sheaths that coat the majority of brain cells and ensure that brain signals travel quickly."We have found that the brain will catabolise the white matter for fuel," says Brinton.In short,the brain starts to eat itself.

Most of Brinton's research has been in mice,but in work yet to be published,she and her colleagues have tentative results suggesting that something similar happens in the brains of some women going through the menopause."We see that there is a decline in glucose metabolism,a change in white matter volume and grey matter volume,and an increase in beta amyloid production relative to men," she says. 

Although most women with Alzheimer's are diagnosed in their 70s,the disease starts to develop 15 to 20 years before symptoms start to show-which is when the menopause occurs.So one should check every year or in between a six months gap, to take proper treatment to overcome Menopause linked Alzheimer's.

Is it to get a job,to get married and settle down in life as majority of people do? The whole world is questioning the basis of education.We see what education has been used for. 

What does Bible say about educating Children.If "we don't teach our children to follow christ world will teach them not to". Discipline is a form of teaching your child.(Prov.22:6) "Teach a child how he could live,and he will remember it all his life". We will not hide these truth from our children,we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord,about his power and his mighty wonders.

Human being throughout the world are being educated to conform,to fit into society and into their culture,to fit into that vast stream that has been flowing for million of years.Is that education or is education something entirely different?

(Deu.6:5-9) "Love the Lord your God with all your heart,with all your soul,and with all your strength.Never forget these commands that I am giving you today.Teach them to your children.Repeat them when you are at home and when you are away,when you are resting and when you are working.Write them on the doorposts and your houses and on your gates." Real education means that a human mind,your mind,not only is capable of being excellent in mathematics,literature,geography,science and history,but also can never,under any circumstances,be drawn into the stream of society.

Teach them be Obedient:"Children,obey your parents,for this is the right thing to do."Respect your father and mother" is the first commandment that has a promise added,"All will be well with you,and you will live a long time." Parents,do not make your children angry,but bring them up with the training and teaching of the Lord.

Angry people cause conflicts.Jesus warns angry people will face God's judgement.(Matt.5:22)"But now I tell you:whoever is angry with his brother will be brought to trial,whoever calls his brother 'You good-for-nothing!' will be brought before the council,and whoever calls his brother a worthless fool will be in danger of going to the fire of hell".

We first need some time and space to let go either to forgive or be forgiven. The moment we are prepared and able to forgive,we feel liberated from the experience of bitterness. Forgiveness marks our freedom from all the negativity, we have been nurturing as a result of our forgiving heart.

Compassion, a form of love.acts of kindness and mercy.It's not a uniquely christian response to suffering.To love,to show mercy,to show concern for to be tender hearted.In the Bible given a good Samaritan story, how a man when robbers attacked him,stripped him and beat him up and leaving him half dead. "But a Samaritan who was travelling that way came upon the man,and when he saw him,his heart was filled with pity" (Luke10:33)

Why should we forgive? Nobody is ever truly bad. No situation is ever without a brighter side.By forgiving,we are creating a whole new experience.We can finally move on.It enables us to heal.Forgiving the person does not excuse the act;it just brings about peace and understanding.A more helpful question would be how we can better understand to put the situation in proper perspective.The emotional foundation of compassion is needed to erect the temple of forgiveness.Compassion can bring about a paradigm shift in transforming into forgiveness

Mindfulness is another quality that enables us to be watchful of our thought,feelings and activities for greater understanding.Compassion does not stop us from holding the person accountable. It simply means we understand the root of the problem instead of looking only at surface behaviour.This way,we find productive and long-term solutions that leads us to blissfulness.

"For years,flavonoids have been thought to have protective properties that help regulate the immune system to fight infections," said Ashley Steed,from St.Louis Children's Hospital in the US.

"Flavonoids are common in our diets,so an important implication of our study is that it is possible flavonoids work with gut microbes to protect us from flu and other viral infections," Steed said.
Flavonoids are commonly found in black tea,red wine and blueberries.Previous studies found that the gut microbiome may be important in protecting against severe influenza infections, so in this study,researchers aimed to identify just what gut microbes might provide that protection.

It is not only having a diet rich in flavonoids,our results show you also need the right microbes in the intestine to use those flavonoids to control the immune response,researchers said.

"We are able to identify at least one type of bacteria that uses these dietary compounds to boost interferon, a signalling molecule that aids the immune response," said Thaddeus Stappenbeck,from the University of Washington.

"This prevented influenza -related lung damage in the mice.It is this kind of damage that often causes significant complications such as pneumonia in people,"Stappenbeck added.

Black tea is more beneficial,if avoid sugar, instead of sugar one can use honey according to their taste .Red wine is also good but it use  it in a moderate way, to get maximum benefit.

If you can exercise before you eat,you will burn off more fat because your healthy genes will get switched on.A study of meal timing and physical activity shows that working out before breakfast may be more beneficial for health than eating first. The results indicate that when we eat affects how much fat we burn during exercise. It also alters activity inside fat cells that promotes long term health.

If you fast before working out,your muscles must rely primarily on your body's reservoirs of fat. Accessing this fat,however,is difficult. For the study,researchers from a UK based university decided to home in on fat cells.Our body fat is busy and bossy. In recent years,scientists have established that fat cells are constantly making and excreting a wide variety of substances which influence other systems and organs in the body. 

The British Scientists suspected that eating before exercise might affect the production of these substances. They first recruited 10 over weight,sedentary,but healthy young men with a typical western lifestyle and tested their fitness,metabolic rates and samples of their blood and fat tissue. Then,one two separate mornings,each man walked for an hour on a treadmill at a pace during which his body would rely principally on fat for fuel.Before one of these workouts,the men skipped breakfast,so they exercised on a completely empty stomach after an overnight fast. On the other occasion,they ate a substantial,600 calorie morning meal of toast,jam,cereal,milk and orange juice about two hours before they started walking.

The men have lower blood sugar levels at the start of their workouts when they had skipped breakfast than when they had eaten. As a result, they burned more fat during walks on an empty stomach than when they had eaten first. Many genes behave differently,depending on whether someone has eaten or not before walking.Good genes which improve blood sugar and insulin were more active when the men fasted before exercise than when they had breakfast first. 

An open air exercise and bridgewalk/treadmill,will gain a tremendous benefit to burn out fat of the body,if do it an empty stomach,regularly.

Most all inclusive statement concerning the relationship between faith and righteousness is found in (Hab.2:4)"Those who are evil will not survive,but those who are righteous will live because they are faithful to God." Let man by faith and obedience seek God's guidance and blessings in the simple act of daily life,in the familiar relationship of home and community.

St.John 11:39-40 is brought in the conversation between Jesus and Martha outside the tomb of Lazarus. " Take the stone away! Jesus ordered. Martha,the dead man's sister,answered,"there will be a bad smell,Lord.He has been buried four days!" Jesus said to her,"Didn't I tell you that you would see God's glory if you believed?".Here Jesus make it clear that faith consists in believing first,than seeing.

He gave us his son-will he not also freely give us all things"?(Rom.8:32).All things that possess-all His blessings,all His promises-are made available freely to each person who receive them through faith in Christ atoning death and resurrection.

Hence,organ donation is not only an ethical act but it is to be encouraged.Pope St.John Paul II give his support for organ donation,calling it as "genuine act of love showing to other fellow human being.Its a way of nurturing a genuine culture of life".

Pope Pius XII declared that based on the principle of brotherly love -called fraternal charity,both living and cadaver donations are acceptable to the Catholic Church.He underscored the point that the donor is making a sacrifice of himself for the good of another person. 

Even the supreme head of Malankara Orthodox Churches, His Holiness Moran Mar Baselius Paulose II,Catholicose of the East, also emphasis the importance of organ donation in his christian community.He also call up on all the orthodox Dioceses Metropolitans  and priest in charge of their churches to conduct awareness programme in this regard."People have fear and ignorance about the organ donations that is to be wipe out and the noble work to be encouraged." further His Holiness said.

In a recent study,researchers from an American University found that meditating while on vacation proved to be more of a stress buster than merely taking a break.Researchers said that meditating while on a vacation provides a strong and immediate impact on molecular networks associated with stress and immune pathways,in addition to short-term improvements in well-being, as measured by feelings of vitality and distress.

The study involved 94 healthy women,aged 30-60.Out of those,64 women were recruited who were not regular meditators.The participants stayed at the same resort in California for six days,and randomised so that half were simply on vacation while the other half joined a meditation training programme for well being.Researchers collected blood samples,and surveys,from all participants immediately before and after their stay,as well as surveys one month and ten months later.Researcher Elissa Epel said "Based on our results,the benefit we experience from meditation isn't strictly psychological; there is a clear and quantifiable change in how our bodies function.Meditation is one of the ways to engage in restorative activities that may provide relief for our immune systems,easing the day-to-day stress of a body constantly trying to protect itself.The prediction is that this would then lead to healthier aging."
