First you find the reason for increasing weight. Unhealthy food habit, soft drinks, oily and fatty foods, hormone deficiency and more sugar contents intake lead to weight gain called obesity. Because of overweight/obesity, different types of sickness will start like heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetics, certain types of cancer, fatty liver, Cholesterol etc.
Consult a good physician to monitor and control your disease. If you are overweight don't try to reduce your weight at a stretch. According to Dr.Philip Abraham of P.D.Hinduja Hospital,Mumbai, suggest reduce your weight one or two kg in a month so that gradually you can reach the target.
Avoid all fatty and oily food, rice, sugar. Include your diet chappathi, more salad,green leafy vegetable etc. Morning empty stomach take lemon juice with warm water. Walk daily 30 to 45 mints and do exercise. If you can regularise this habit in a month you can reduce your weight two kg at least.
Another important fact is sleep. A night of restful sleep comprising at least seven to eight hours, could actually help you lose and also control your weight. Researchers have found that when your sleep cycle is irregular, your body start to secrete excess ghrelin, which is the hormone responsible for an increase in your appetite. Also, if you do not get proper sleep then your leptin (the hormone that helps you feel full after a meal) levels decrease, so your inclination to overeat increases. If you are sleep deprived, your cortisol levels increase, and our body to store abdominal fat.
If you can strictly follow and seriously continue the habits, surely you can achieve weight reduction without any medicine.
